Dr. Mirjana Baspaly ND
I’m Dr. Mirjana Baspaly, and for over 15 years I’ve had the privilege of walking alongside patients as they find their way back to health. I’m a CCNM–Boucher alumna (ND, 2009), and I’m glad to be back at the teaching clinic as a Clinical Supervisor, overseeing care for patients alongside our talented student interns.
My approach comes from a simple belief: you can’t treat a symptom in isolation and expect real healing. The body, the mind, and the spirit are interconnected, so when I sit with a patient, I’m not just asking what hurts. I’m listening deeply to understand the whole story, so together we can find the root cause and build a health plan that’s truly individualized, not generic. I’ve dedicated my career to continuous learning across naturopathic modalities, because I believe the more deeply I understand the body, the more I can offer each patient who sits across from me.
I’m licensed by the College of Complementary Health Professionals of BC and a member of the BC Naturopathic Association (BCNA). What I love most about this work is watching patients move from just managing how they feel to actually feeling like themselves again.
Scope of Practice / Modalities
• Clinical diet and nutrition
• Botanical medicine and homeopathy
• Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, including cosmetic facial acupuncture
• Bodywork therapies: Bowen therapy, craniosacral therapy, visceral manipulation, and neural manipulation
• IV nutrient and injection therapies
• Hormone health, including bioidentical hormone therapy with a special interest in perimenopause and menopause
• Energy medicine and meditation-based approaches
• Digestive health, including SIBO, food sensitivities, and other GI concerns
• Weight management exercise, and lifestyle protocols
• Using genetics to support overall health

Dr. Romi Fung
(He/Him/His)
ND
Dr. Fung is Clinical Faculty supervising senior interns in training to become naturopathic physicians at the Boucher Naturopathic Clinic. He also is an instructor in the Traditional Asian Medicine department at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine - Boucher Campus.
Dr. Fung’s passion lies in cognitive health and dementia. Dr. Fung believes that there is more to dementia than just working with the brain; many metabolic and biochemical factors affect our brain stemming from the body. It is not as if our brains (and heads!) are detached from the body. But instead, what happens in the body also occurs in the head. He believes naturopathic medicine takes a powerful stance in addressing these factors that affect our brains. He takes a comprehensive approach in working with his patients, from screening for inflammation, insulin resistance, and hormones while working on their lifestyles, which contribute significantly to our brain health.
To further his approach to dementia, Dr. Fung has completed numerous training and courses, including the Bredesen ReCODE Protocol, Kharrazian Institute Certificate in Cognitive Decline and Dementia Clinical Strategies and Treatment Applications, is a Certified Brain Health Professional through Dr. Daniel Amen and Amen University, and has obtained Pharmaceutical Prescribing rights in the province of British Columbia, Canada.
Dr. Fung completed his undergraduate Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University followed by graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine as a Doctor in Naturopathic Medicine. While building his practice, Dr. Fung went on to complete a Master of Science in Aging and Health from Queen’s University and was subsequently offered acceptance to pursue a Doctor of Philosophy in Aging and Health also from Queen’s University. At this time, Dr. Fung has completed his comprehensive exams and is now a Ph.D. candidate. He is currently pursuing his dissertation in a qualitative study on dementia screening.
